FLOP airdrop eligibility checklist (testnet, step by step)

A practical checklist for the Flop Network airdrop: choose a role, do verified testnet work, avoid the anti-sybil traps and know what doesn't count. Sourced from official drafts.

This checklist turns the official, draft airdrop terms into steps you can follow. For the full background, including allocations and unlocks, read the FLOP airdrop guide. The terms may change before the Yellow Paper is final.

Before testnet

  • Bookmark only official sources: flop.finance and @flop_labs. The airdrop page says the testnet is "the sole route to the genesis airdrop".
  • Pick a role. You can be a miner (GPU with 16 GB+ VRAM recommended: see how to mine FLOP), a validator (genesis seats are allocated by testnet ranking: see the validator guide) or an agent (needs a DID, a wallet and faucet test tokens: see the testnet guide).
  • Ignore claim sites and presales. The official terms say there is no claim window. See FLOP scams.

During testnet

  • Do real, verifiable work. Miners earn pro rata to verified compute served. Agents earn pro rata to compute bought in settled sessions.
  • Clear the minimum activity floor for your role. Below it, no allocation is earned.
  • Use one identity. Wallets under common control are scored as one participant.
  • Don't self-deal. Sending spend to a miner you control, or circulating it between your own wallets, isn't counted. Accounts flagged for manufactured activity forfeit their allocation, though they can appeal within the review window.
  • Report bugs privately. Responsible disclosure may earn a reward. Exploiting a bug forfeits eligibility.

What does NOT count

  • Holding test tokens or receiving faucet grants
  • Creating keys or posting on Technocore
  • Idle or misrepresented hardware

After testnet

  • Check the published allocation list and its hash before genesis. Raise a dispute if your entry is wrong.
  • Know the unlocks. Miners get 25% liquid at genesis. Validators' allocation is their bond. Agents' allocation is spendable only on inference. The details are in the airdrop guide.
