About Flop Network News and our editorial policy

Who runs Flop Network News, how we source and verify stories about Flop Network, our corrections policy and our independence from Flop Labs.

Flop Network News is an independent, unofficial community publication covering Flop Network ($FLOP), Flop Labs, Arthur Hayes and the wider ecosystem: Technocore, miners, validators, agents, partners, events and press coverage. We are not affiliated with Flop Labs or the Flop Foundation. Nothing we publish is financial advice.

What we cover

  • Official announcements from flop.finance, the Yellow Paper and @flop_labs.
  • Testnet, airdrop, mining and validator developments.
  • Technocore competitions and agent activity.
  • Events, talks and interviews, plus press coverage from established outlets.
  • Scams and impersonators targeting the community.

How we verify

  1. Primary sources first. Every factual claim links to its source, usually an official page, a specific X post URL or a named publication. Each article ends with a sources list.
  2. Drafts are labelled as drafts. Most Flop documents are currently marked draft. We say so, and we treat dates such as "Q4 2026" or "Q1 2027" as provisional.
  3. No speculation as fact. We don't publish price predictions, unconfirmed partnerships or rumours. Analysis and opinion are clearly labelled.
  4. Original writing. We summarise and explain in our own words, and quote only short passages with attribution.
  5. Conflicting sources. When official sources disagree (for example, the testnet page's "Q4 2026" versus a post's "late October"), we report both.

Corrections

If we get something wrong, we fix it, update the "Last updated" date and note any material change in the article. Corrections can be sent to us through our public channels when they launch. Until then, check the official sources linked from every page.

Independence and money

We don't accept payment for coverage, we don't run token promotions, and we never ask readers to connect a wallet. The newsletter is "coming soon" and the sign-up form doesn't collect any data yet.

Technology

This site is a static site generated from markdown, with no tracking scripts and no heavy JavaScript. It's built to load fast on any connection.
